Learning the Traditions: Grappa Tasting (Postponed to the fall)

Third in a series of workshops designed to pass on details of some of the fine traditions that make Italian heritage so rich.  This 'workshop' will focus on grappa.

This event will include a sommelier presentation of "Introduction to Italy's Spirit, the Taste of Grappa.”  The presentation will be focused on grappa making regions of Italy, the history of grappa and grape varieties used.

But we cannot just talk about grappa.  Included in the discussion will be tastings of 5 grappas selected to represent a wide range of this specialty Italian product.

The tasting will include an antipasto plate of bread, olives and cheese.  Note that no dinner is served at this event.

We encourage you to come out, and invite your friends, to learn about the Italian tradition of grappa.
