Is this a fundraiser?

This year's Gala is in support of Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba’s Better Futures Campaign.  You will see the result right at the Gala -- we will present them with a large cheque (literally as well as figuratively) at the end of the evening, so help them carry on their wonderful and important work in Manitoba.

How can I pay?

We accept secure online payments for tickets, sponsorships and advertisements in our dinner program.  If you need to pay by a corporate cheque, you can print an order form from our download page and send it to us.  Once purchased, there are no refunds.

Who is the Keynote Speaker / Entertainer?

Sorry, we regret to inform you that we have no boring keynote speaker to go on and on about ... sorry, fell asleep.

Will there be dancing?

YES!  The dance floor will be full, moving to the grooves of the big band sound of, well this is TBD, but bring your dancing shoes!

Don't dance?  No problem, you can chat at your table while listening to the music or you can indulge at our espresso and pastry bar in the lobby, while listening to relaxing music.

What should I wear?

It is a formal Gala evening.  Some gentlemen will be wearing tuxedos, and some ladies long gowns so you will fit in if this is what you choose.  Business formal dress is also appropriate: suit and tie for men, and dress for women.  Check out photos from past events for an idea of what some have worn.

Where can I park?

There is street parking around the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre, but perhaps easiest is to park in the RBC Convention Centre parkade.  It is warm and secure, and many leave their coats in the car and take the elevator up to the main floor.  Access to the parking lot is southbound on Carlton Ave.

How can I support your charity?

We hold a raffle at the event featuring wonderful prizes, with proceeds to the charity.

We also have a live auction that moves along quickly, but has some amazing prizes to bid on!
