Folklorama - Italian Pavilion

Winnipeg's cultural diversity is celebrated each year in our Folklorama festival, billed as "the largest and longest running multicultural festival in the world."  Of course, our Italian community is proud to showcase the food, talent and history of Italy and does so through the Italian pavilion, this year running from August 7 to 13, in the Centro Caboto.

Sons of Italy is proud to support the pavilion by sponsoring a food/beverage/entertainment tent in the piazza.  The tent is a great place for people to enjoy our food, drinks and entertainment.  In the tent, our SOI volunteers serve porchetta on a bun and Italian sausage and peppers on a bun, along with Italian wine, beers and soft drinks.

Our 2011 SOI tent coordinators were Alex Baksina and Armando Nasuti (L-R in picture).  Check out the photo galleries below for images from the week long event.
